About the Event
Join us for a Level 4+ social ride on Saturday, April 25th at 8:30am, as we celebrate the re-opening of Virginia Canyon Mountain Park! Plan to meet at the restrooms at Heritage Park (Next to the Morgan A Durham Memorial Playground, and across the street from Safeway.) We are hoping by arriving early, we can find a parking spot on Colorado Blvd. Please use Facebook to arrange carpools, as you do have to pay to park.
We will plan for a full lap up Rosa Gulch, then descend on Drop Shaft. Will climb up again to the Hub, and then do a lap on Gauntlet Gold. Expect around 1600ft of climbing for this ride. Post-ride food/drinks TBD.
Pace: Chill on the climb, Rowdy on descent
NOTE- there will be limited Trail Guides, so riders may need to split up into their own groups if we are larger than 8 riders.
