About the Event
Join us for a winter hike at Brainard Lake! (Brainard Lake Recreation Area, Brainard Lake Rd, Ward, CO 80481)
We will plan to hike the Waldrop Trail, going around Brainard Lake and coming back on Brainard Rd.
We will meet in the main large parking lot at Brainard Lake- please set up a carpool to make parking easier! NOTE- all vehicles will need a parking reservation, so let's use comments to establish parking permits! These are released 15 days in advance...
Bring snacks and maybe a warm bottle of tea or beverage of your choice to enjoy when we reach the lake!
Depending on conditions, snowshoes may be useful. I would recommend micro spikes, though!
