About the Event
Join us for a social ride on Sunday, July 21st at 8:45am, for a Level 4-5+ group ride at Deer Creek! Led by Trail Guide- Maggie John.
If you are comfortable riding up and down NTM you will be good here! If you are unsure if this is the right ride for you just reach out
Intermediate to Advanced riders are welcome to join this ride. There are some technical features throughout the trail and the climb feels long, but if you're good with some rocks and roots you'll make it up! The loops at the top are more xc and very pretty!
This ride is about ~10 miles/2000' and I imagine runs us about 2 hours as a group. We'll be keeping a party pace, in that we'll regroup as needed, but expect most breaks to be brief.
This can be a steep and challenging climb for most! Good climbing fitness is required. Please check your ride level prior to attending to ensure you are in the right group for your safety and the safety of others. https://www.girlsgearsandbeers.com/ride-levels
It is highly recommended to have a trails app on your phone, such as Trailforks or MTB Project to be familiar with the trail system. Lights are also recommended to carry in your pack, especially in early spring and late fall.
